Red Kite is the new project of Daniel Fisher, previously of The Cooper Temple Clause. Following their split in 2007, Fisher took time out of the music industry – apparently to become a librarian – but as of March this year he’s re-emerged with three songs fresh from chasms of his mind.
Produced by fellow ex-band mate Tom Bellamy, who now performs as one half of Losers, it’s not surprising the material carries a distinct and familiar signature sound. The project has already attracted the attention of Drowned in Sound and Sweeping the Nation, and there are rumours of a debut single release soon.
