Follow That Bird are “kind, easy going, house partying people”; a band fronted by the soon to be iconic Lauren Green. Alongside drummer Tiffanie Lanmon and bassist Paul Brinkley, the trio create down and out garage, tainted with a lick of grunge and Green’s expansive vocals. The closest anyone’s come to this level of angular panache in the past few years was on The Jealous Girlfriends’ self-titled, and Holy Miranda ruined their chances of world domination with her solo career.
Following a pimp from Matador Records on their recent Casual Victim Pile compilation, Green et al signed to Seattle’s Mt. Fuji Records last year, and will release their debut single “Wooden Bones” on June 21st.
