Gaggle to support Hurts at Somerset House

All-female super-choir Gaggle have been announced as Hurts’ main support at their Somerset House show this summer.
As part of Somerset House’s Summer Series, which this year sees a variety of acts such as Blondie, My Morning Jacket and Eels perform within the grounds of Central London’s stately home, Gaggle will play alongside Hurts on July 14th.


After the success of ‘The Brilliant and the Dark’ last year at the ICA, Gaggle released a limited edition 12” vinyl of the operatic piece for Record Store Day with Transgressive Records.

Originally composed by Malcolm Williamson and Ursula Vaughan Williams for female voices, ‘The Brilliant and the Dark’ was first performed by 1,000 women volunteers at the Royal Albert Hall.
