Cave Painting: they’re a little bit Paul Simon, and a little bit…

Okay, they’re just a lot like Paul Simon. If they adopted a very tall friend with mental curly hair, the monster wouldn’t be surprised. The only thing that differentiates them from the King of Graceland is the sheer modernity in their music. “So Calm” couldn’t have been recorded in any year other than 2011. Unless of course Cave Painting have travelled back through time to play a genre that – to them – is retro chic, just to confuse us. Because we’re all confused now, right?

An EP is due out this autumn, but because that’s a whole two seasons away, Cave Painting have very kindly provided the following song for free download here.
