To coincide with their headline slot at Lovebox Festival next Sunday, Scissor Sisters have confirmed a series of UK racecourse headline shows for the coming weeks, as well as a book signing session in London on 18th July.

As a proven live act full of excitement and energy and fresh from Lady Gaga’s worldwide Monster Ball Tour, Scissor Sisters will perform the following UK shows:

July 16th Haydock Park Racecourse, Liverpool
July 17th Lovebox Festival, London
July 20th Sandown Park Racecourse, Surrey
July 22nd Newmarket Racecourse, Suffolk
July 24th Splendour Festival, Nottingham

On headlining Lovebox Festival Ana Matronic said: “It’s appropriately named, this Lovebox festival, seeing as how I love every single name on this lineup.  Booty-shaking, hands-in-the-air, smiles-on-faces fun will be had, friends. This, people, is going to be hot.  I can’t wait.”

On top of the live shows, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears will be doing a London instore book signing on July 18th to mark the launch of One Day in the Life of Jake Shears’, a book of photographs taken by American photographer Tim Hailand. A portion of sales will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Jake and Tim will be signing copies on 18 July from 6 -7.30pm, in the Café at Foyles, 113-119 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0EB.
