Jane’s Addiction, the iconic alternative rock titans, are set to release their first single in eight years. Entitled ‘Irresistible Force’ it’s a dark, swirling, moody and epic composition that channels the mystical, shamanic qualities of the band; an interlaced fusion of Stephen Perkins insistent drums, Dave Navarro’s melodic guitar lines and Perry Farrell’s uniquely brilliant vocals.

‘Irresistible Force’ will be released on August 3rd and follows on from the track ‘End To The Lies’ which was made available as a free download earlier this year. Both tracks feature on the forthcoming and highly-anticipated new studio album ‘The Great Escape Artist’ which will be released in the autumn, and features both Dave Sitek (of TV On The Radio) and Chris Chaney on bass.

Jane’s Addiction last week announced an exclusive show at Koko in London on August 30th, to follow their headline appearance on the Radio 1/NME stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals. The show sold out within minutes of going on sale and will feature some fabulous surprises!

In further live news, Jane’s Addiction will be playing a world-exclusive show at Terminal 5 in New York City on Monday 25th July in association with YouTube and LG. Not only will the concert be streamed live on YouTube but this will also be the first 3D user-generated concert event. All attendees will be able to film the show on brand new LG Thrill 4G Devices, and then these films will be combined into one special 60-minute documentary film which will be premiered on the LG Thrill 3D YouTube channel on August 4th.

The concert will also feature a revolutionary 360-degree stage set, that not only showcases the band’s performance in a totally unique way but also gives new scope to the performance artists that
