Preaching from the Pews: Flight Brigade

flightOfficial SiteFaceBook

Earlier on in the year Flight Brigade had the good fortune to play a hailed set at Blissfields Festival, setting a blazing precedent for their music and future career.

The seven piece formed when Oliver and Miriam Baines-Hughes married, and are comprised of the surrounding two families, featuring sisters, school friends and brothers. Flight Brigade are devoted to soaring energy and music that sits between prog-folk and pop. Not to be dismissed as sugary sweet or a product of the times, theirs is a rare talent that calls to mind early Arcade Fire, albeit a little suburban.

The band have just started work on a new album, while several songs are available on a “pay what you like” basis on their website.
