21 year old Salford born singer Ren Harvieu, has her debut single “Through The Night” released on January 16th through Kid Gloves/Island Records.Watch the video below.
The single, a Spector-ish orchestrated slice of yearning taken from Ren’s forthcoming debut album, was originally set for release on July 4th this year until Ren suffered a terrible accident which left her with a broken back and not knowing whether she would ever walk again. Thankfully after a miraculous recovery, in less than three months, Ren is back on her feet and finally ready to release her first single. Harvieu is also set to return to the live stage next month and has been confirmed as the special guest on the forthcoming James Morrison UK tour, is opening for Elbow at their Little Noise Sessions date on November 22nd and headlines her first London show at the Water Rats on November 24. The following night the Salford native headlines the BBC Introducing Night at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester.
