Sound Of Guns – Angels And Enemies (Distiller Records)

Sound of Guns

Last week saw the release of Sound Of Guns new album ‘Angels And Enemies’, the album nips on the heels of the bands EP release ‘Silicon’, which was released earlier in the year.

The record boasts an overwhelming amount of power anthems with raunchy guitar riffs and beautifully distinctive vocals from band frontman Andrew Metcalfe. The album is brimming with diversity and not one track sounds the same, which is clearly a trait needed in any album release within this genre.

The first highlighting track being the first single release on the album, ‘Sometimes’. One hell of a track that has you rocking and chanting its lyrics upon the first few plays. ‘Antartica’ is another album delight, with its hidden surprise of an elegant start that belts into a stomach churning chorus. Thus proving my point, the albums audience will be so wide eyed and attract almost anyone.

‘End Of The World’ delivers your ears with fast drums and a climatic bridge to have you leaning toward the repeat button.

Upon the first few listens it is determined that this album is a must have for any rock lovers collection.
