The Weddos have been going for 27 years now. They are officially my third favourite all-time band and they release anew album next week. 2005’s “Take Fountain” was phenomenal and their best album ever in my book. The follow-up “El Rey” wasn’t as good and, whilst I’ve only listed to “Valentina” once, it seems to be erring towards thelatter. That still makes it a good album however, so if you too love the miserable Yorkshireman (Gedge, not Metcalfe),you will probably love this.
