The town of Garður (pronounced ‘Garður’) is a tiny place in Iceland, with a population of 1,489 people, 976 cows, 598 sheep and a poodle called Nanna. Some of those people, along with Nanna, formed a band and called themselves Of Monsters And Men. Their debut album, ‘My Head Is An Animal’ is available in all good stores in Reykjavik and is well worth a listen. So as you don’t need to trek all that way, here’s a nice little track from it for you.
