The Fat White Family, a band who’ve crawled out from the crevices of Peckham and Brixton have kindly given us access to the first insight into the world of the Fat Whites is the video for their single Cream Of The Young directed by Robert Rubbish. Cream Of The Young is a unsettling, twitching slice of noir pop that worms its way into your brain.Upon a bed of Slinky sinister chanted refrains and squeals bubbling across instrumental sweeps of the kind to be found on some forgotten 70s B-movie given resuscitation on the 2013 treatment table. The video fits the mood a series of surreal, gluttonous nightmarish images loosely threaded together….
Cream Of The Young will be available from the 18th February on Trashmouth Records and their album Champagne Holocaust is due out in April.
