VIDEO EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Clark – Sunken Ships

God Is In The TV is proud to present a video exclusive from a truly gifted songwriter. Charlie Clark is a Scottish musician now based in Los Angeles. He releases his debut solo record ‘Feel Something’ on April 29th via AED Records. The first track to be taken from it is the stunning ‘Sunken Ships’, a song that Clark describes as “a psychedelic sea shanty“.

charlieclark2You may remember Charlie as one half of the creative force behind much-loved late 90’s indie popsters Astrid. He was also a core member of Scottish supergroup The Reindeer Section, and has appeared on records by The Zephyrs, Arab Strap, Mogwai and Snow Patrol.

The April 29th 2013 release of ‘Feel Something’ once again finds Charlie under the wing of Scottish indie legend Edwyn Collins. The record will be released by Collins’ label AED. Come back to GIITV over the next few days for a full, exclusive interview with Charlie, where he talks about the past, present and future, plus how his journey through life brought him to where he is now.

The video to ‘Sunken Ships’ was directed by Paul Orehovec, and was filmed using real drone planes. “It was a very easy shoot. The location was my apartment and a block or so around it and we were really lucky to have an incredible crew, including a company called Drone Dudes who are a 2 man operation literally flying a drone with a camera on it.”
