‘Live_Transmission: Joy Division Reworked’ is an electro-orchestral and visual reinterpretation of one of the UK’s most influential bands, Joy Division. The show is a unique audio-visual collaboration between aforementioned electronic music pioneer Scanner, Heritage Orchestra – with conductor Jules Buckley – and visual artist Matt Watkins. Alongside the virtuosic ferocity of drummer Adam Betts, guitarist Matt Calvert (both of instrumental noise-rock band Three Trapped Tigers) and bassist John Calvert (Ghostpoet).

‘Live_Transmission: Joy Division Reworked’ is a Brighton Festival commission and was debuted there in 2012. It made its international debut at the Sydney Opera House in May 2013 for the Vivid LIVE festival.
