Islet announce October UK tour dates

Fresh from announcing news of their second album ‘Released By The Movement’ (Oct 7th on Shape Records), Welsh group ISLET will tour the UK this October. Islet’s reputation for fearlessness has been built on their extraordinary live shows, blurring the boundaries between stage and surrounding environment with their energetic live performances. Alex Williams of the band sums up their anticipation: “Live music means falling in love with your friends in weirdly lit spaces and occasionally falling over. Raise the high roof beams!”

Described as a recorded stream of consciousness of expressed love, anger and their “obsessive need to freak”, the new album draws heavily on the intensity and energy of Islet playing together as a band. Their naturally experimental approach and their own unique inner logic has created these nine unworldly jams that make up ‘Released By The Movement’, a window into their own unorthodox world.
