‘Golden Age’ is the marvelous new cut from The Melting Ice Caps aka the solo project from David Shah once of Luxembourg,  a wonderful trawl through the debris of modern digitised living. Disputing what we are constantly told that we are living through a golden era for democracy and communication, leaving it all behind to take back control of your private life that has become public online ( “I’m strolling through sunshine where no-one sees/Not scrolling through crap living out false dreams’.) Guided by David’s luxuriously knowing tone that ripples through this casio-beat,  his charming lament ‘It’s a Golden Age/you know’ is dripping with irony and poignancy of the loss of a better past, the video spells it all out for you quite handily……
