Track Of The Day #372: Sky Larkin – Frozen Summer

061a

Sky Larkin are a Leeds band who are starting to build something of a reputation for themselves. They have already released a couple of impressive albums and the third one, ‘Motto’ completes a splendid trilogy. Those of you who fondly recall those vixen led nineties bands like Sleeper and Echobelly will want to check these out. It’s guitar-fuelled indie with a whole lot of attitude. Punky, funky and spunky, it is another fine release. Hang in on the track attached for it takes a while to boil but then it smacks you between the ears – enjoy.
