Black Submarine – ‘Black Submarine’

Black Submarine – ‘Black Submarine’

Dive deep with Black Submarine, in this their eponymous vessel. Released as a preview of the band’s forthcoming début album, ‘Black Submarine’ the song has been built to strict industry standards. With its modular design and intuitive constituent parts of spatial guitar, electronics, bass, drums, a swirling string arrangement and mantra-like voices it reveals a most remarkable subterranean capability as it rumbles along a sea-bed somewhere between the start of dark electronica and the end of civilization.

With a genealogy that embraced The Verve, Goldfrapp and Portishead, Black Submarine the band then went on to change their subsequent identity from Black Ships. Their album New Shores is scheduled for release on 3rd February 2014 via Kobalt Music and is being performed live at two exclusive headline shows:

Weds 5th February at the Deaf Institute in Manchester

Thurs 6th February in Wilton’s Music Hall in London

Tickets are now on sale priced at £17.50 in Manchester and £20 in London.
