PREVIEW: Daniel Carlson – ‘Eko’

With ‘Eko’, New York singer-songwriter-guitarist Daniel Carlson sets out on a gentle, somnambulist journey to announce the imminent arrival of his second album, Me You You Me.  Gradually raising itself from a deep, deep sleep, ‘Eko’ musters just about enough energy to tell the world all about Carlson’s innate grasp of the post-production pop aesthetic. His is surely a world inhabited by Burt Bacharach and Liam Hayes. Swathed as it is in luxurious symphonic swaddling, the mood that Carlson creates here is one of sheer unhurried bliss.

Me You You Me is out on 7th April through Folkwit Records.
