The Vincent(s) – Fever Dreams

Death pop five-piece The Vincent(s)’ latest single ‘Fever Dreams’ follows their head turning EP Valley Of The Sun. The occult nightmare that is ‘Fever Dreams’ is backed with (B-side) ‘Throne Song’, which makes for a menacing companion.

The début single was the raw, 90’s surf grunge inspired, ‘Asked Her To Dance’, a good introduction, yet The Vincent(s) have clearly been working hard to hone their sound before finally arriving at ‘Fever Dreams’ and ‘Throne Song’.

‘Fever Dreams’ crosses the stirring melodies of grunge metal band Mudhoney, with the grooving murky tones of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

The disturbing psych-rockabilly of The Cramps and churning bass of The Birthday Party’s Tracy Pew is summoned for the lurid ‘Throne Song’.

In ‘Fever Dreams’ and ‘Throne Song’ The Vincent(s) capture the mysterious, sinister and unsettling corners of your imagination.
