Global Rap Superstar Competition

meet the judges (1)

The search for the next Global Rap Superstar is on courtesy of online platform Fame Music.

Hip hop hopefuls have the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas to record at Palms Studio with super producer Damon Elliott and underground hip hop sensation Hopsin. If that wasn’t enough, the winner also gets to shoot a music video and perform their track live at an event in Los Angeles.

Industry heavyweights MC Lyte, Naughty by Nature’s Treach and multiplatinum producer Battlecat join Damon Elliott and Hopsin as panelists for the competition opening 30 October 2014.

Contestants are being asked to upload one original track and a 30 second video to www.famemusic.com where users – of which there are almost 30,000 – will vote for their favourite artist before 15 finalists are chosen. The winner will be announced on 15 December after votes from the public and professional panel are counted.

Marco Bettelli, CEO of Fame Music said: “We are very excited to launch Global Rap Superstar. Fame allows music creatives around the world to showcase themselves online, and connect with some very respected industry professionals. We hope through this competition we find some great talent.”

If you think you have the rapfactor visit www.famemusic.com and enter for free before 1 December 2014.
