The kind folks at the Ample Play label, are allowing us to announce details of their new singings, Japanese duo Yokan System‘s EU dates and new release. Yokan means premonition in Japanese. Crafting an unique sound that oscillates between the early electronic manoeuvrings of the Knife, the haunting vocal experimentation of the Cocteau Twins and the melodic playfulness of Blonde Redhead infused with the flavours and mystery of Asia. They self-released an EP in Japan, which did well on college radio. Their 1st single with Ample Play Records came out in November ‘A Dream You Never Wake Up From’. Now they release an intriguing new single entitled Yokan Teresa, stream it here:
