NEWS: more acts announced for Deer Shed Festival 6

hero7Deer Shed, the jewel in Yorkshire’s music, arts and science festival crown, has just announced a second wave of acts to appear at this year’s event.

Scheduled to join the confirmed headliners John Grant, Billy Bragg and The Unthanks in the glorious parkland of Baldersby Park at Topcliffe in North Yorkshire over the last weekend in July will be the much lauded New Orleans-based blues, boogie and soul guitarist and singer Benjamin Booker; Boxed In, the solo project of synth-dance man and former member of Manchester band Keith, Oli Bayston; Hinds, the all-female four-piece from Madrid who are touted as one of the NME’ artists to watch in 2015; and Seafret, the acoustic duo of Jack Sedman and Harry Draper.

With still some five months to go before Deer Shed 6 takes place, the incredibly strong musical line-up so far has contributed towards more than 70% of the tickets for the festival having already been sold.

The third tier of adult full weekend tickets (16+), priced at the very reasonable £119 plus booking fee, are released today 2nd March 2015 and can be bought here along with child full weekend and campervan tickets. Camping on this beautiful 90 acre site is free.

There is also the option this year to purchase a Sunday night camping per tent or live-in vehicle ticket.

All Deer Shed 6 information can be found on the festival website

The sixth annual Deer Shed Festival will take place from 24th to 26th July 2015 at Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, North Yorkshire.
