NEWS: Supernormal 2015 reveals its first programme details

Supernormal – the experimental music and arts festival held deep in the heart of the south Oxfordshire countryside – has today announced details of its first acts for 2015. One of God Is In The TV’s 10 Best Boutique Festivals Supernormal returns for its sixth annual outing with news that will affirm its growing reputation as one of the country’s most innovative and unique events.

Supernormal is set in the beautiful grounds of Braziers Park, a 17th century estate with an established history for experimental learning and communal living that fits perfectly with the festival’s underlying principles of cultural exploration and adventure. This ethos is firmly reflected in the initial wave of acts set to appear at Braziers Park over the first weekend in August.

The line-up includes those fine purveyors of ‘new Italian occult psychedelia’, Father Murphy; melodic noiseniks and recent additions to the Sonic Cathedral roster, the Bristol-based Spectres; and the Scots psych-folk band Trembling Bells. The full list of the first musical announcements is:

Supernormal 2015 will also be collaborating with Blue Tapes – a boutique cassette label specialising in handmade packaging, alternative process artwork and curious audio – who will present a showcase of national and international artists from their label at this year’s festival.
