NEWS: Festival No. 6 announces final headliner

Location:  Portmeirion, North Wales

 

Festival no. 6 – Wales’ festival that hosts a range of music, arts and culture, boasting a “Festival unlike any other, in a place like no other,” has announced Metronomy as its final headline act.  Also playing the festival are the likes of Grace Jones, Belle and Sebastian as well as newcomers Soak and Rae Morris.  Also announced is the addition of  DJ and producer Mark Ronson and British Sea Power with yet more still be unveiled.

Joe Mount of Metronomy says that “after 18 months of touring Love Letters, it felt like we needed to find the perfect setting for our final show; I believe we have found it! We can’t wait to play at Festival No. 6.”

As well as a top music line-up, Festival no. 6 will also have talks and discussions from Scots writer Irvine Welsh, comedian Dom Joly, DJ and presenter Edith Bowman, and a spoken word set from playwright, novelist, poet and recording artist Kate Tempest.  There is also a wide range of theatre to be enjoyed.

Festival line-up includes:  Belle and Sebastian/Grace Jones/James Bay/Catfish and the Bottlemen/Everything Everything/Gaz Coombes/King Creosote/Young Fathers/Rae Morris/Kate Tempest/Ghostpoet/Stornoway/The Bohicas
