NEWS: North Wales line up for Manchester

Gullivers posterNext Wednesday, 15th July Manchester’s celebrated Northern Quarter venue Gulliver’s will play host to a special bill featuring some of the best new acts from North Wales: Golden Fable, Lights that Change, Machanical Owl and Martyn Peters.

Golden Fable‘s lo-fi, folk-tinged pop, shimmering synths and mesmerising choral vocals take you to an altogether different place of mystery and wonder.

The main support act, Lights that Change, underwent a rebirth over the last year so this will be the very first time they are venturing out of the confines of their studio in this new guise. And there is every chance we’ll get to hear material from their much anticipated debut album, which is expected later this summer.

Mechanical Owl started life back in 2007 as a solo project of Mike Payne. Having taken a few years’ break they’re back with a new album Winter Songs released in February 2015 and showcased at this year’s Focus Wales.
