Brighton five piece Octopuses have given us the premiere for their new video for their track ‘Girl’ which is taken from the forthcoming Octopuses album ‘Yes Please’ released on 20th Nov 2015. ‘Girl’ is a rambunctious casiotune pop song with a insistent melodies and hooky guitars it oscilates somewhere between Pavement and Of Montreal but with a British wit, the video is rather fun too featuring some smart escapology and cross dressing!
20th November 2015 marks the release of the debut album Yes Please by Brighton five piece Octopuses, released on new label Lick Music. Octopuses formed in 2012 from the ashes of indie poppers Foxes!,
Octopuses are Adam Bell (vocals, keyboard), Smalan Odgers (guitar, vocals), The Enigmatic Tom Matthews (vocals, glockenspiel, tambourine), Rob Grice (bass) and Alan Grice (drums).
