Swooning with understated heartbreak, ‘So Long’ is like some wonderful lost Everly Brothers classic as played by Camera Obscura. Shivering on the wings of glistening, chiming guitars and dappling rhythms, Martha’s voice is as bittersweet as liquid gold cider: each intonation bristling with the conflicted sorrow of a love turned sour.
Martha Ffion is based in Glasgow and ‘So Long’ is her first single since announcing she has signed with Turnstile Records.
