GIITTV would like to extend its proud congratulations to our core writer and deputy editor, Simon Godley, who triumphed earlier this evening (5th November) in the Festival Journalist / Website Of The Year category at the prestigious AIF Festival Congress Awards for 2015.
Simon saw off formidable opposition, in front of a packed house in Cardiff, in the shape of Edith Bowman for her Great British Music Festivals and Remfry Dedman from The Independent amongst others. This is just desserts for Simon, whose tireless work for our illustrious zine, alongside other key members of the God Is In The TV staff has well and truly paid off, and he deserves it.
The event was hosted by Ben Challis (General counsel to Glastonbury Festival) and featured Bestival’s Rob Da Bank and The Head Gardener of Secret Garden Party on DJ duty.
