NEWS: more line-up announcements for ATP 2.0 curated by Stewart Lee

No sooner has the dust settled on the success of their Nightmare Before Christmas ATP Stewart Lee 2016_NEWS_3event than All Tomorrow’s Parties 2.0 reveal yet more announcements for their next line-up at the Pontin’s Holiday Park in Prestatyn on the North Wales coast.

And what exciting news it is. Joining Sleaford Mods, the Japanese experimentalists Boredoms, English psychedelic rockers The Heads, acclaimed Australian jazz trio The Necks, folk royalty Shirley Collins, performing alongside Ian Kearey, and many more besides at the Stewart Lee curated event in April will be the psychedelic survivor and living legend that is Roky Erickson. For so many years posted missing in action, the former leader of the Texan band 13th Floor Elevators and for many the man who invented psychedelic rock is back and will perform the music of that seminal group.

Other additions to what is already proving to be a truly outstanding bill in the very best ATP weird and wonderful tradition will be the Sun Ra Arkestra, the Geordie folk musician Richard Dawson and former Sonic Youth member Thurston Moore.

More music, DJs, ATP’s traditional cinema and TV channel listings, and extra day events are still to be announced.

Full details of this event – to be held at Pontin’s in Prestatyn between the 15th and 17th of April next year – can be found here
