NEWS: Full line-up announced for Lunar Festival 2016

Date: 3rd – 5th June 2016
Location: Tanworth-in-Arden, Warwickshire

Following on from the unqualified success of last year’s event, Lunar Festival returns to the delightful setting of Tanworth-in-Arden for its third edition. Come the first weekend in June, this most charming of villages located just to the south-east of Birmingham will welcome yet another incredibly diverse range of musical artists to its idyllic setting.

This year’s headliners will be the resurgent American alternative rock band Mercury Rev, fellow countrymen, the seminal art-punk pioneers Television and the wonderfully warped Welsh experimentalists and musical visionaries Super Furry Animals who will close out the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings respectively.

An inspired and incredibly strong undercard will include the sheer might of those legendary Brazilian ‘Tropicália’ psychedelic Os Mutantes; fellow 1960’s time-travellers The Zombies – featuring both founding member Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone; the award-winning English actor, writer, comedian and musician, Matt Berry with his touring band The Maypoles; renowned indie singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy; electronic duo Bentley Rhythm Ace and the cracking Afrobeat eight-piece band from London, Ibibio Sound Machine.

And there is so much more to Lunar Festival as can be seen from this video trailer
