NEWS: More line up news for OFF Festival 2016

Dates:  5th – 7th August
Location:  Katowice, Poland

Bringing the greatest alternative music stars from around the world to the increasingly strong Polish scene, OFF festival has been an inspiration to many festival organisers for quite some time.  Situated in a beautiful green oasis in the heart of industrial Silesia, it is a truly unique event that, frankly, makes many UK events look lacklustre at best.

Where else can you hear shoegaze, jazz, and grunge next to noise, techno, and rap? The latest OFF news is reassuringly diverse and daring.  Freshly reunited 90s icons Lush will play alongside Wu-Tang Clan‘s GZA, Sub Pop’s finest Mudhoney and legendary DJ Andrew Weatherall who will perform B2B with Roman Flugel.

Intense and genre-defying Jaga Jazzist will be joined by fellow musical revolutionaries Lightning Bolt, bringing noisy sounds that bend genres and break conventions. Swedish rapper Yung Lean, aka Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, is proof that you can record original and charismatic rap tracks with a global reach on this side of the pond. And he’s another protagonist to join the cast of OFF Festival 2016.

Amazing line up aside, OFF Festival makes even more sense when you consider that three-day festival passes start at €53, leaving you with plenty of spare cash for food, drinks and festival fun.
