NEWS: Let’s Go Baboon to put on a series of shows for CALM

Let’s Go Baboon – the live music promoter based in York – is this year putting on a series of shows across the UK with the principal aims of raising money and awareness for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). CALM is a charitable organisation which exists to prevent male suicide in the UK.

Throughout 2016, Let’s Go Baboon will hold some 10 shows across the UK – including York, Leeds, London and Leicester in what will be a special event in memory of Simon Joss Perry who died in 2013 – each one at a small independent venue and with the aim of raising over £1,000 for CALM. These shows are also dedicated to the memory of the celebrated violist and one quarter of the Elysian Quartet, Vincent Sipprell.

The first of these shows will be held at The Basement in York on Thursday 3rd March 2016 and features the combined and exceptional talents of Adem, Alisia Casper and Maggie8. Details of this event, and how to buy tickets for it, can be found here
