NEWS: Green Man 2016 announces Warpaint, Grandaddy and more new names

Dates: 18th – 21st August 2016
Location: Brecon Beacons, Wales

Happy St David’s Day! To celebrate this occasion Green Man are treating us to another festival announcement that includes American indie dream pop quartet Warpaint, blessed out indie space rockers Grandaddy, spiritual jazz breakthrough Kamasi Washington and psychedelic surf rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Swedish collective Dungen, too, will be keeping things intense in their own eye-opening, prog rock-filtered way. Fresh-faced Gengahr, back after gracing Green Man’s inaugural boat party, promise guitar fuzz and shimmering melody in equal measure. Yorkston, Thorne & Khan – with their three-way blend of jazz, acoustic guitar and Indian sarangi – are sure to bend a few minds, while Awesome Tapes From Africa Brian Shimkovitz will be playing the most grin-inducing oddities from his vast cassette collection.
