NEWS: The Great Escape festival announces a further 100 acts

Dates:  19th – 21st May
Location:  various venues, Brighton

The Great Escape festival have announced a further 100 acts to their already impressive line-up.  Among the new additions are God Is In The TV favourite – and one of our tips for 2016 – The Anchoress, Scottish duo Man of Moon, bluesy country-rock from Barns Courtney, Rozi Plain, Nottingham favourites Eyre Llew and Glasgow’s WHITE.

To their Young Adult line-up there’s Mystery Jets, The Joy Formidable, Muncie Girls, Dilly Dally, Shakka, Lady Leshurr, and Porches.

Event manager, Kevin Moore had this to say:  “It’s wonderful to be able to announce another 100 artists who will be taking part in The Great Escape 2016.  We wanted to make sure this year’s line-up was as exciting and as diverse as ever, championing emerging artists from as many genres as possible and I really do feel we’ve got something for every type of new music fan, no matter what you’re into.  The addition of our Young Adult wristbands for those aged 16 – 17, along with our Late Escape programming has opened the festival to new attendees and fans.  I can’t wait to see everyone in Brighton very soon.”
