Track of the Day #852: Foresteater – Very Friendly People

I don’t know what it’s been like where you are, but it’s only been a mere three days of actual heat in that sunshine here in Glasgow, Scotland.  Everyone knows we’re mostly famous for being way beyond wet.  So, with Spring 2016 finally in the air, what perfect way to celebrate than by popping Arizona, USA singer-songwriter Foresteater‘s ‘Very Friendly People’ on a loop, lounging in the garden/local park in the coolest pair of sunglasses you can find, with an ice cream in hand and soaking up as much vitamin D as possible – without burning to a crisp, obviously?  It’s a super-sunny track with its bright pop melodies with an indie breeze throughout.

‘Very Friendly People’ is the lead single from an EP titled Nightlife of the Exploding Heads – which, in all honesty, isn’t a pleasant image – so finding this within it is a welcome surprise.  I would strongly encourage you to enjoy this one while we have the sunny weather and much longed for heat.  Shimmying along is optional, as is a cool cider from the fridge.

Nightlife of the Exploding Heads is available to buy now from iTunes.
