Track Of The Day #859: The Snuts – Glasgow

We first met The Snuts back in 2012, and we weren’t overly keen on them.  Back then they were foul-mouthed high-school kids with unoriginal tunes and a slew of insults.  Now, in 2016, they finally have their act together and released their first single ‘Glasgow’ last week.

It’s a welcome change from what we saw and heard all those years ago.  Now they have a much more polished, mature sound, and they seem to have figured out who they are and who they want to be.  ‘Glasgow’ is a tune bathed in sunshine, just like its subject matter at this very moment.  With Glasgow (the city, not the song) you never quite know what the weather will do from one hour to the next; make the most of the heat and sunshine while you can and The Snuts’ ‘Glasgow’ may be just the thing you need to enjoy it all the more.

‘Glasgow’ was released 20th May and is available to buy now
