NEWS: Grumbling Fur announce new album, share ‘Acid Ali Khan’

Multi-instrumental psych duo Grumbling Fur are set to release their fourth album Furfour on 16th September via Thrill Jockey.  Alexander Tucker and Daniel O’Sullivan’s follow up to 2014’s Preternaturals is set to feature Charles Bullen of This Heat and Isobel Sollenberger of Bardo Pond in places.  Speaking of process of creating the album, the pair said: “Songs are about including the process in the finished piece and spontaneous ideas are laid down, and a structure starts to emerge from this source.  First thought best is our motto.”

To celebrate the announcement, the pair have shared a track from the album, ‘Acid Ali Khan.’  It’s a four-minute wig-out underpinned by some strong pop sensibilities.  Shamanic and hypnotic, it’s everything you’d expect from Grumbling Fur.  Listen below.
