NEWS: Black Peaches announce new UK tour

Led by Rob Smoughton of Hot Chip and Scritti Politti, Black Peaches released their debut album Get Down You Dirty Rascals earlier in the year.  A melting pot of country, swing, spiritual jazz and funk, the record was a loose-limbed journey through the most dominant genres of the Deep South.  However, the diverse album also took inspiration from the likes of krautrock icons Can and Stephen Stills’ records after Crosby Stills Nash & Young.

The formula has already seen the band earn slots at a number of British festivals, including Port Elliot Festival, Green Man and Festival No 6.  Now the group have announced that they’ll be heading out on a UK tour this December, traveling the breadth of the country from Glasgow to London.

Details of the December UK tour dates are below. Tickets are on sale now.

1st December – Sticky Mikes, Brighton
2nd December – Start the Bus, Bristol
3rd December – Soup Kitchen, Manchester
4th December – Mono, Glasgow
8th December – Kamio, London
