NEWS: Must Die Records to hold Other Worlds Music Film Festival in October

When: 13th-16th October
Where: Various venues, Blackpool

Must Die Records will be hosting a truly alternative festival, bringing together music and film, in Blackpool across four days in October.  The Other Worlds Music Film Festival is an offshoot of the Other Worlds Festival, a celebration of leftfield and experimental music that takes place in various locations across the town, including the Bootleg Social Club, Blackpool Central Library and Abingdon Studios.

The same venues will play host to a variety of music-based cinema, live acts, video installations and a music video competition throughout the event.  Acts in the line-up currently include Herb Diamante, Isnaj Dui, Blanket and local cult group The Drop-Out Wives, many of whom will be providing live soundtracks to silent cinema.  In addition, Dubai-based experimental music collective Tse Tse Fly will be returning to show and occasionally perform a selection of Arabic music videos.  There’s also set to be a screening of the Sleaford Mods documentary Invisible Britain.

Even more events and acts will be announced soon.  All activities at the festival will be free of charge and open to anyone.
