As one of the standout tracks from his latest album The Mountain Will Fall, it’s no surprise that ‘Nobody Speak,’ the collaboration between producer DJ Shadow and rap group Run the Jewels, has finally been given a new video. Directed by Sam Pilling and produced by Pulse Films, it was shot in New York, London and Ukraine and depicts a large meeting of leaders that spirals into madness. Both DJ Shadow and Run the Jewels also make cameos in the increasingly chaotic clip.
DJ Shadow said: “We wanted to make a positive, life-affirming video that captures politicians at their election-year best. We got this instead.” Meanwhile, Killer Mike of Run the Jewels added: “It’s such a dope video. It’s what I really wish Trump and Hillary would just do and get it over with… And even in that fight I think Hillary would win – and that’s not an endorsement.” Watch below.
DJ Shadow will be playing at this year’s Warehouse Project in Manchester, at Granada Studios on 2nd November.
