NEWS: Three unreleased David Bowie tracks feature on the ‘Lazarus Cast Album’ due next month

Out on 21st October, the double-CD Lazarus Cast Album includes songs and recordings from the upcoming Lazarus musical, written by David Bowie alongside Irish playwright Enda Walsh.  It premiered in New York last year and is coming to the UK on 25th October, and is loosely based on Nicolas Roeg’s The Man Who Fell To Earth.

Lazarus features many cast version of famous Bowie songs, such as ‘Life On Mars?’ and ‘All the Young Dudes’ as well as the original Blackstar recording of Lazarus.  But the double-LP will also feature three of Bowie’s unreleased recordings: ‘No Plan,’ ‘Killing a Little Time’ and ‘When I Met You.’  All three were recorded with Donny McCaslin and the musicians who helped create Blackstar.  These songs are all included on one CD, which only features Bowie versions.
