NEWS: Bayonne shares live loop video for ‘Living Room’

Having recently played his first headlining dates in the UK and releasing his debut album Primitives via City Slang, Texan electronic producer Roger Sellers – aka Bayonne – is sharing a unique video for his latest single ‘Living Room.’  Filmed in Austin and produced by Sellers himself, the clip gives an insight into how Bayonne’s music comes together.  It shows him playing all the instruments that come together into what eventually becomes the pop gem ‘Living Room,’ demonstrating the careful construction that goes into each track on Primitives.

As Sellers himself says: “My goal was to make a video that demonstrates the general recording process, while also maintaining a linear performance.  Almost all Bayonne tracks are recorded using an outboard looper and (mostly) acoustic instruments.  The process for the video was very challenging in structuring the loops and routing the studio correctly, but I feel the point I wanted to make came across.”  Watch below.

Bayonne is playing a live set at The Waiting Room in London on 15th February 2017.  More live dates are expected to be announced soon.
