NEWS: Japandroids to head off on 2017 UK tour

After three years away from the scene, Canadian rockers Japandroids are set to release their brand new album Near to the Heart of Wild Life on 27th January 2017 via Anti- Records.  Much like their previous efforts Post-Nothing and Celebration Rock, the LP consists of 8 songs that have been deliberately sequenced to form a loose narrative, with the final track acting as an epilogue to the events of the rest of the record.

The pair will be heading off on an extensive European tour in support of Near to the Heart of Wild Life in April and May next year, playing several dates in the UK.  Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 11th November 2016.  Details below.

28th April – O2 Institute, Birmingham
30th April – The Garage, Glasgow
1st May – Stylus, Leeds
2nd May – Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
4th May – Gorilla, Manchester
5th May – Concorde 2, Brighton
6th May – O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London
