NEWS: Lush to play their final ever show in Manchester on Friday

After a year in which they received great critical acclaim for their comeback EP Blind Spot, toured the UK and beyond, as well as three-career spanning releases via 4AD, iconic indie-pop group Lush are calling it a day.  They announced recently that they’d be playing their final ever performance at Manchester’s Academy on Friday (25th November), where they will be joined by Modern English bass player Michael Conroy.

The band said in a statement: “It’s been wonderful to revisit our old music and to create new material.  However, it is now time for us to return to our families and homes, and bring our time together as a band to a close.  We offer heartfelt thanks to all our fans – this reunion would never have happened without your overwhelming support and dedication.”

There are still some tickets available for the event, which can be purchased here.
