Welsh singer-songwriter H Hawkline is currently gearing up to release a brand new album, the follow up to 2015’s critically acclaimed In The Pink of Condition, later this year via Heavenly Recordings. In advance of more details about the record being revealed, he’s shared ‘Last Thing on Your Mind.’ The track was recorded in Los Angeles with Samur Khouja and features contributions from both Cate Le Bon and Josiah Steinbrick.
Talking about the six-minute track, Huw said: “It waits like the cat who knows it’ll eventually get cream. Sits, makes eyes and then sips, always watching, one eye on the washer, the warm smell of fresh china.” Listen below.
In April, H Hawkline will be setting off on a European tour as a special guest of Devendra Banhart. They’ll be playing the Hackney Empire in London on 12th April.
