NEWS: Yung Lean shares information on new album

After the surprise release of his mixtape Frost God, Swedish Rapper Yung Lean opts for a more typical album release. Yesterday, Yung Lean shared some sparse information on his new album. Titled Stranger, the album will be released  10th November via YEAR0001 on CD, 2XLP and digital. The news of the new album comes with the release of Hunting My Own Skin yesterday, and Red Bottom Sky at the beginning of September. Check out Hunting My Own Skin below.

Sonically, the material Yung Lean has presented so far seems to have drifted away from the more typical production expected on a rap album; here, Lean expands on sounds first presented on Hennessy & Sailor Moon. Gentle, otherworldly melodies blend with Lean’s sombre delivery, creating an aesthetic style that seems more reflective of an artist that is maturing and finding his voice.
