NEWS: The Blinders set for UK tour this February & Debut Album to follow

The Blinders who recently signed to Modern Sky UK label have announced a tour for this February, they were recently working in the studio with Gavin Monaghan at Magic Garden Studios, with a new single imminent and a debut album due later this year.

Hailing from the coalfields of South Yorkshire the Doncaster born trio have got people talking on the UK live circuit in 2017. With a brooding blend of proto-punk and heavy psychedelia, with personal and politically scorched lyricism, they are a fearsome live prospect. Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Thomas Haywood, bassist Charlie McGough and drummer Matthew Neale the three-piece formed in late 2014 before relocating to Manchester. Having toured the UK with the likes of The Charlatans, The View and Cabbage, combined with a long list of festival performances including Reading and Leeds, TRNSMT and Isle Of Wight, The Blinders turn heads and move feet wherever they go. Their debut album is set to be released in 2018.

Here’s what they say:
“Another year, another collection of the outright impossibles becoming possible. here’s to those who have allowed us to blossom in ways unimaginable, and also to those who have taken even the slightest amount of interest in our music. thank you.

we’ve been quiet these last couple of months, but in reality, we’ve been working our fingers to the bone behind closed doors, and are finally delighted to share with you all that we have indeed been focusing on our debut album. but in the meantime, we shall be embarking on our first UK headline tour in February.”
