NEWS: IDLES, Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy and Insecure Men amongst additions for The Great Escape

NEWS: NAO, Dream Wife, Ady Suleiman, ONR, Trudy and the Romance amongst The Great Escape final wave

NAO will perform her self-styled “wonky funk”, a fusion of R&B, soul tinged funk and pop beats, when she headlines the YouTube Presents Stage on the 18th May down on THE BEACH, at this year’s Great Escape Festival. With performances over two venues, pop up food stalls and even bespoke cocktail beach huts. She will be joined by festival returnee Liv Dawson.

The full festival schedule is now live and on the The Great Escape App. Other additions include Ady Suleiman whose husky vocals, forthright lyrics will headline the BoxFresh stage on Saturday night. Back for more TGE love after their 2017 debut is North London rapper Paigey Cakey and previous Brighton students Dream Wife who will send crowds into a frenzy with their riotous pop punk.

Plus Scottish songwriter ONR. signed to Capitol US, will take to the stage with his electro pop laden with dark overtones. Liverpudlian three-piece Trudy And The Romance and Joel Baker  who will bring his own soulful, raw song-writing and guitar wielding tunes to the festival.

Rory Bett, MAMA CEO said: “In usual TGE style, we keep adding the heat and energy right up to the festival, it’s very exciting to partner with YouTube to create such a stellar show in our very own new Beach venue.”

Watch this space for more secret popup shows being announced throughout the festival.
