NEWS: Little Simz shares nostalgic new video for ‘101FM’ & Winter Dates

Little Simz has shared the video for her track 101FM and announced some dates for October and December. One of the stand-out tracks from her excellent album GREY Area is now accompanied by a video that genuflects towards Simz’ childhood in the late 90’s/ early aughts. This video flashes back to her pirate radio days, writing bars in her bedroom and intimate house parties, complete with VHS footage and sly cameos from Avelino and Kojey Radical. Watch it here:

Sheffield artist and producer, Toddla T has also remixed the track, adding a heavy weight dub aesthetic and linking up with pioneer and dancehall icon Spragga Benz to add an authentic dancehall vibe to the track.

Toddla added ‘this is one of my favourite artists and tunes of the year, 101FM, it was a joy to remix”.

Since the release of the GREY Area, Little Simz has hit the floor running with shows across the globe including Coachella, The 6 Music Festival, The Great Escape and most recently All Points East and Primavera Sound. Catch her at one of her UK shows from October where she’ll be making stops in Leeds, Nottingham, Glasgow, Oxford and London’s legendary Kentish Town Forum in December.
